Welcome to the Sturm College of Law! We look forward to working with you during your law school experience and beyond.
This guide will aid you in preparing for your first year of law school. It includes information about the library and its website; useful books, a/v materials, and electronic resources; pertinent CALI lessons; and more.
The Academic Achievement Program provides assistance to students to enable them to master those legal skills necessary for success in law school, on the bar exam, and in practice. AAP offers a variety of programs for students prior to law school, during law school, and for bar exam preparation and they maintain a library of study aids in room 457 that students can check out these study aids to use in preparing for class or for exams.
You can view the AAP materials in the library catalog, but if you visit the Resource Center you can get one-on one advice about which resources would be best for you.
See the links below to learn more about the Academic Achievement Program.
The Center for Computer Assisted Legal Instruction has a library of interactive lessons and podcasts created by law professors, including a large range of topics covering the first year of law school.
To use CALI you will need to register using the authorization code that you will find here.
